New research: Botox can cause botulism!
A woman reached out after Botox injections, experiencing disorientation, dizziness, and vision problems. Meanwhile, on her own page, she writes that she feels unwell but will continue getting injections 💁♀️—because she sells this service.
Let’s turn to the facts ☝️
When you're promised a smooth forehead and wrinkle prevention with magical Botox, it’s worth knowing that this toxin can actually cause botulism.
Botulism is a serious infectious disease that affects the nervous system. In this condition, impulse transmission at the neuromuscular junction—known as the synapse—is disrupted, causing muscle paralysis. If the muscles involved in breathing fail, death can occur without treatment.
In the comments under this post on Instagram, I will attach links to scientific studies.
It has been discovered that Botox actually "travels" along axons, even though it was previously claimed to have only a local effect. Turns out, that’s not entirely true.
Next, let’s talk about the "treatment" of torticollis and migraines with Botox 🤦♀️.
Torticollis is a compensatory spasm of the neck muscles caused by dysfunctions of the skull, bite, or birth trauma to the neck. Botox does not address the root cause—it merely removes the body’s compensation, which ultimately makes things worse. One of my participants experienced this firsthand after such "treatment."
Migraines are caused by impaired venous blood outflow from the head due to muscle spasms. However, the spasm itself is also a compensation mechanism in response to an underlying issue—such as misalignment, slouching, or other dysfunctions.
Specialists with a syringe should know this, rather than shouting in my comments about the safety of the world’s number one neurotoxin…
